Cheering On a Harris Comeback
The 55-year-old broadcaster later turned her attention to speculation that Harris might seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028, responding with exaggerated gratitude and mockery. Kelly ridiculed Harris for burning through a billion dollars during 107 days of campaigning in 2024, only to lose every swing state.
Her enthusiasm was transparently tactical. A longtime critic of Harris as a candidate, Kelly made clear she views another Harris campaign as advantageous to Republicans.
