Donna Kelce won’t need to sign a non-disclosure agreement for the upcoming wedding of her son Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. The couple is confident enough in her discretion to skip any formal documents.
The 73-year-old mom shared the news on Wednesday, Feb. 11, while talking with TMZ at Los Angeles Airport, providing a rare peek into wedding preparations that have fascinated fans ever since the pair announced their engagement in August 2025.
“They know I can keep a secret,” Donna said with a sly grin when asked if the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had asked her to sign any confidentiality agreements.
Her remark contrasts sharply with what some other attendees have reportedly dealt with. TV personality Graham Norton revealed on the Jan. 27 episode of his “Wanging On” podcast that he had been required to keep strict silence after receiving his invitation. “I can say nothing,” Norton noted, joking that he had signed “so many NDAs.” He even teased that Kelce had “kind of stepped down” and playfully suggested he might end up as the groom.
Donna’s special status makes sense given her closeness to both her son and his future wife. As the mother of two NFL players, she frequently appears at Chiefs games with Swift and was recently spotted with Swift’s mother Andrea at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Jan. 25. The soon-to-be in-laws posed happily for photos in the snowy setting, showing the strong connection between their families.
During the airport exchange, Donna also touched on another popular fan question: the song she will share with Travis for their mother-son dance. She remembered dancing to “Love Shack” by The B-52s at her older son Jason Kelce’s 2018 wedding to Kylie Kelce. “So we’ll see what I can muster,” she teased, hinting at another festive reception.
Both Travis, 36, and Swift, 36, have kept their wedding plans largely out of the spotlight since revealing their engagement on Instagram with a joint post that included Swift’s song “So High School” alongside the humorous caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The post broke Instagram records, earning over 14 million likes within an hour.
Insiders told Us Weekly last fall that Swift has enjoyed organizing the event. Reports indicate she prefers a small, family-focused celebration instead of a star-filled spectacle, though sources say the couple still hasn’t finalized even half of their guest list.
Travis and Swift’s romance began in 2023, when Swift watched her first Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium that September while sitting with Donna.
