Sylvester Stallone’s Bold Comments About Trump

After the election in November, at the America First Policy Conference held in Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, Florida, actor Sylvester Stallone likened President Donald Trump to George Washington, America’s first president.

At the event, Stallone, 78, took to the stage to introduce Trump, referring to him as a “mythical character” who has accomplished feats unprecedented in nature. “Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off,” Stallone stated as he presented Trump to the attendees.

Stallone, during his speech, made reference to the opening scene of “Rocky.” He recounted the moment when the camera pans from a mural of Jesus to Rocky Balboa in a boxing ring, with the word “Resurrection” displayed in the background. “At that moment, he was a chosen person, and that’s how I began the journey. Something’s gonna happen. This man is gonna go through a metamorphosis and change lives,” Stallone shared with the crowd.

Stallone compared Trump’s campaign to the American Revolution, suggesting that Trump, like George Washington who unknowingly shaped the world through his defense of his nation, is a transformative figure set to alter the world. “We got the second George Washington,” Stallone proclaimed.

The event boasted a multitude of notable attendees, including Tulsi Gabbard, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, Donald Trump Jr., and Kimberly Guilfoyle. During the conference, Trump revealed his plan to nominate Doug Burgum, Governor of North Dakota, for the position of Secretary of the Interior.

Born in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, on July 6, 1946, Stallone has crafted an outstanding career as an actor, screenwriter, and director. His career breakthrough occurred with the 1976 film “Rocky,” for which he was both writer and lead actor. The film garnered 10 Academy Award nominations and won three, including Best Picture. Stallone later solidified his status as a top action star with the 1982 film “First Blood,” introducing the character John Rambo. Stallone’s career achievements include a Golden Globe Award and numerous Academy Award nominations.

Stallone has maintained a long-standing connection with Trump and played a key role in Trump’s pardon of the late boxing legend Jack Johnson.

Recently, Trump named Stallone, alongside actors Mel Gibson and Jon Voight, as special ambassadors to Hollywood. Their appointments aim to bolster business and breathe new life into the entertainment industry. Voight acknowledged the industry’s “slow deterioration” over the years and expressed optimism that the incoming president would aid in its revival.
