Trump Talks About VP Picks: 2024 Speculations Rise

Former President Donald Trump has recently taken note of biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, as disclosed in a Blaze TV conversation with Glenn Beck.

This attention followed Ramaswamy’s description of Trump as the “best president of the 21st century” during a GOP primary discussion.  Trump told Beck, “He’s a smart guy. He’s a young guy. He’s got a lot of talent. He’s a very, very, very intelligent person. He’s got good energy, and he could be in some form of something. I tell ya, I think he’d be very good. I think he’s really distinguished himself.” With these comments some think Trump may be signalling his consideration of Ramaswamy as a running mate.

Ramaswamy, who garners 7.3% in RealClearPolitics’ current GOP 2024 race polls, has openly backed Trump’s initiatives and shielded him against various indictments.

While Trump commended Ramaswamy’s capabilities, he did express concerns about his remarks on global policy matters. Additionally, Ramaswamy encountered criticism after equating Representative Ayanna Pressley’s comments to those of the KKK.
