Four Dead in Horrific Triple Murder-Suicide

Four individuals were discovered deceased in a fifth-floor apartment at the Castle Hill Houses in the Bronx, New York City, on November 5, 2025. Authorities are investigating the case as a murder-suicide. The deceased were identified as Kaseem Stukes, 44; his mother, Theresa Stukes, 75; his daughter, Kianna Stukes, 26; and Andrew Reynoso, 33, who was associated with the family.

Police responded to a wellness check request at the New York City Housing Authority building on Lacombe Avenue in the Castle Hill neighborhood around 9:30 a.m. Officers found all four victims with gunshot wounds in the apartment, where they were declared dead. A firearm was also found at the scene.

Kaseem Stukes was discovered deceased on a couch with a firearm nearby, while his mother, daughter, and Reynoso were located in other parts of the apartment. Police sources indicated that the suspected shooter contacted a relative out of state before the incident, stating, “Check on your family.” A local family friend later found the bodies and notified law enforcement.

One of the victims reportedly mentioned earlier that day that he would “see them in the next life,” suggesting awareness of impending events. Investigators are reviewing the area for any relevant video footage.

The medical examiner’s office is working to determine the precise causes of death, though police sources report the victims died from gunshot wounds. The police have confirmed the deaths were homicides, but no arrests have been made.

Theresa Stukes, aged 75, resided in the Castle Hill Houses for many years and was well-regarded in the community. Neighbors described her as a “wonderful, wonderful person” who was always helpful. Family members referred to her as the golden girl and described her as loving. Neighbors reported no prior history of violence in the home.

Kaseem Stukes was a longtime Castle Hill resident and was remembered as a fun-loving child who enjoyed sports. Friends and neighbors expressed surprise at his involvement in the violence. He worked in construction and was reportedly trying to improve his life. Although he faced charges of reckless endangerment and illegal gun possession in September 2024, acquaintances believed he had changed his ways.

He had a history of legal issues, but his mother, Theresa, supported him throughout his struggles. Neighbors and friends described the Stukes family as close-knit and expressed sorrow over the sudden violence.

The relationships among the victims showed that Kianna Stukes, 26, was Kaseem’s daughter and Theresa’s granddaughter. Andrew Reynoso was connected to the family, with some sources identifying him as Kianna’s boyfriend.

Castle Hill Houses is a public housing complex managed by the New York City Housing Authority. Residents expressed prayers for the family following the discovery. Community members were shocked by the violence, given the family’s reputation in the neighborhood.

Police continue to investigate the events leading to the violence and the motive behind the shooting. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to understand the circumstances within the fifth-floor apartment.
