Tom Brady’s Photo Triggers Brutal Online Mockery

Tom Brady recently shared golf photos featuring his son, but the focus quickly shifted to the noticeable height difference between them. Brady’s 17-year-old son, Jack, is now taller than the seven-time Super Bowl champion, prompting reactions from former teammates and fans.

On August 20, 2025, Brady posted several photos of himself and Jack at The Hills resort in East Quogue, New York. Jack, noticeably taller than his father, who stands at 6 feet 4 inches, drew significant attention. The photos quickly became a topic of discussion online.

Among those commenting was former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Mike Evans, who joked, “Is Jack standing on something? Besides business, lol.”

Rob Gronkowski, a former teammate from both the Patriots and Buccaneers, also chimed in, writing, “Jack is way more beastly than you.”

The photos depicted Brady in a white T-shirt, black pants, and a baseball cap, with Jack beside him on the golf course. The height disparity was apparent, especially with Jack’s arm around Brady’s shoulder. Brady captioned the post with “Everything still pretty much the same ’round here,” though it was clear the family dynamics had shifted in terms of height.

Jack, whose full name is John Edward Thomas Moynahan, turned 18 on August 22. He is Brady’s eldest child with actress Bridget Moynahan. Brady shares two other children with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen: son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12.

This is not the first time Jack’s height has been noted. Brady has previously shared images showing Jack nearing his height, but this latest set confirms Jack has surpassed him.

Fans also expressed surprise, with many commenting on Jack’s stature compared to the NFL icon. Some humorously suggested that Jack could receive college recruitment offers due to his height and appearance.

Jack is pursuing interests in sports, though not exclusively football like his father. He is involved in basketball and lacrosse. Meanwhile, Brady has promoted Benjamin’s basketball potential on social media, highlighting Michigan’s recruitment.

Jack played as a quarterback and safety in high school football. However, Brady mentioned in a 2023 interview that Jack may not continue with the sport. “Yeah, he played this last year, and I don’t even know if he’s going to play next year,” Brady stated, adding he supports whatever path Jack chooses.

Brady encourages his children to pursue their interests without pressure to follow in his footsteps in football. He has discussed Jack’s enjoyment of lacrosse and academic success, with basketball currently being his favored activity.

Brady often shares family moments online, and these golf photos exemplify his time spent with Jack, even if they invite playful teasing.

Since retiring from the NFL after the 2022 season, Brady has been a broadcaster for Fox Sports, having signed a 10-year deal worth $375 million. When not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his children.

Brady and Bundchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. Despite changes in his personal life, Brady remains committed to being an involved father to his children. He co-parents Jack with Moynahan and has expressed pride in their development and individuality.
