Seven months after her separation from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez continues to live in the Beverly Hills, California mansion they once shared. The property, valued at $68 million, has been on the market since their split.
The mansion, known as Crestview Manor, spans 38,000 square feet and has been available for purchase since July 2024. Despite attracting prospective buyers, it remains unsold. A recent transaction with New Jersey buyers did not proceed due to a family bereavement.
Affleck and Lopez bought the mansion in May 2023 for $60.8 million. The property comprises 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker’s house, and a two-bedroom guardhouse. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to 80 vehicles, including a 12-car garage.
The mansion also features an indoor sports complex, which includes basketball and pickleball courts, a fully outfitted gym, a boxing ring, and a sports lounge. Access to the property is gained through private, gated streets, and it is secured by double gates.
While Lopez still resides in the Beverly Hills mansion, Affleck has relocated to a new $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades, California.
Selling a property of such high value is a challenge in the current real estate market. Experts in the field estimate that the former couple may lose up to $25 million on the sale due to factors like the mansion’s location, size, and the prevailing market conditions.
The ongoing costs associated with maintaining the property amount to around $283,666 per month. This figure includes mortgage payments, taxes, security, maintenance, and utilities. The annual property tax alone is $476,000.
Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, listing their separation date as April 26. This filing coincided with the couple’s second wedding anniversary.
According to sources, Lopez has been looking for a new residence since April. Recent reports indicate that she is considering the Azria Estate in Los Angeles’ Holmby Hills neighborhood, priced at $55 million. This 30,000-square-foot property, with 14 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms, was a filming location for Lopez’s 2024 film “Atlas.”
