Harry Savage, a 26-year-old former drama student and reality TV star, was found dead at his home in Putney, south-west London, on July 19, 2024. Paramedics arrived around 9:15 a.m., but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Savage, known for his appearance on Channel 4’s “Hunted” in 2019, starred alongside his brother Frank.

Police arrested a man in his 30s in connection with Savage’s death, treating the incident as “unexpected.” The man has since been bailed pending further inquiries.

A post-mortem examination and toxicology tests are ongoing to determine the cause of death.

Harry Savage gained recognition when he appeared on the fourth season of Channel 4’s reality show “Hunted.” The show, which aired in 2019, follows contestants as they go on the run, attempting to evade capture by a team of expert trackers. Savage participated alongside his older brother Frank, with the siblings opening up about their personal tragedies during the show. Their mother had recently passed away from dementia, and their father had died of a heart attack when Harry was just 15 years old.

Harry was captured on day 24 of the reality show, in Birmingham city center, and Frank was caught just before the dramatic helicopter extraction finale, which could have won him the £100,000 prize.

At the time of his death, Savage was working as the head of partnerships for the dating platform Thursday. His employer paid tribute to him, highlighting his high energy, positivity, and colorful personality. “It is with great sadness that we share news of the tragic and unexpected passing of our dear friend and Thursday colleague, Harry Savage,” the company wrote on LinkedIn. “Harry had played a central role at the heart of our team heading up global partnerships since 2021, and all who knew him would have seen his high energy, positivity, and colorful personality in full flow.”

Tributes have poured in from friends and colleagues, who described him as a “beautiful soul” and a “sweet angel.” One friend wrote, “What a sad day. RIP Harry Savage. One of the most beautiful souls on this earth. Rest well sweet angel.” Another shared, “I am lost for words. Such a beautiful soul… one of the nicest guys I’ve ever had the privilege to know.”

Earlier this year, the Savage family was embroiled in a legal dispute with their uncle over a £1 million farm in Sussex that had been in the family for three generations. Harry’s brother Frank successfully fought to keep the farm within the family, sharing ownership with his three siblings. The court battle had added to the family’s series of hardships following the deaths of both parents.

The police are continuing their investigation into Savage’s death, and his family is being supported by the authorities.

Savage’s sudden death has shocked many, and the public response has been one of widespread grief and remembrance. Friends, family, and fans continue to share their memories and tributes, honoring Savage’s life and the impact he had on those around him.
