The actor’s death occurred on January 22, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. His wife, Becky Graham, confirmed his passing. They were married for nearly a quarter of a century.
Gary Graham, born on June 7, 1950, in Long Beach, California, made a name for himself in the realm of science fiction.
He is fondly remembered for his role as Ambassador Soval, a Vulcan character in “Star Trek: Enterprise.” Graham’s association with the “Star Trek” franchise was not limited to this role. He also guest-starred in “Star Trek: Voyager” and appeared in two fan films, showcasing his ability to bring depth to his performances.
In the early stages of his career, Graham appeared in numerous TV shows and films during the 70s and 80s, including “The Incredible Hulk,” “Starsky and Hutch,” and “Police Woman.”
His career-defining role arrived in 1989 when he played Detective Matthew Sikes in the TV series “Alien Nation.” He continued to reprise this role in five subsequent TV movies from 1994 to 1997, solidifying a remarkable part of his acting legacy.
In “Alien Nation,” his character, Detective Sikes, partnered with an alien detective, George Francisco, played by Eric Pierpoint. The series aired for one season from 1989 to 1990 and garnered a dedicated fan base.
