Jeffrey Foskett, renowned guitarist of The Beach Boys, died on December 11, 2023, at the age of 67.

Born in San Jose, California, Foskett’s passion for The Beach Boys began with their song “I Get Around.” His career with the band started after meeting Brian Wilson in 1976.
Foskett’s initial work with Mike Love’s Endless Summer Beach Band led to him replacing Carl Wilson in The Beach Boys until 1990.
In addition to playing guitar, Foskett contributed falsetto vocals to The Beach Boys, participating in their 50th Anniversary Tour and the album “That’s Why God Made the Radio.” His solo work, including albums like “Thru My Window” and “Voices,” showcased his broad musical abilities.
Despite his achievements, Foskett valued his friendship with Brian Wilson above fame. His talent was recognized by artists like Paul McCartney and Jeff Beck.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 anaplastic thyroid cancer in 2019, Foskett underwent extensive treatments and participated in a clinical trial. His final social media post in March reflected his optimism.
