A Peoria, Arizona neighborhood was rocked on the morning of Saturday, November 11, 2023, following a brutal home invasion that resulted in the death of a married couple.
The deceased, Walter Mitchell, 52, and Susie Ephrem, 42, were attacked in their home near 79th and Peoria Avenues in Peoria.
The tragic event began around 4 a.m. with the breaking and entering of an unidentified person into the couple’s home. This attack led to the shooting of both Mitchell and Ephrem. Mitchell passed away at the scene, while Ephrem, despite being swiftly taken to a hospital, died from her injuries subsequently.
As of now, the suspect in this case is still at large. The Peoria Police Department is requesting the help of the public in this matter.
