On Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Hildago, Mexico, a 50-foot-tall scaffolding structure collapsed at a road construction site, resulting in the death of five workers and injuries to three others.

When the form and the scaffolding structure gave way, the workers fell into a tangled pile of metal and wet cement.
Emergency services were dispatched to the site. Mexico’s Transportation Department confirmed that all personnel present at the time of the accident were pulled from the wreckage.
