On October 11, a shooting occurred inside a hotel room at the Extended Stay America hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man and a woman were found in critical condition.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at approximately 10:30 am. They discovered the deceased man inside the room and immediately transported the injured man and woman to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Early indications from Officer Samone Burris, a police spokesperson, suggest the incident was confined to that specific hotel room. The authorities are not seeking any additional suspects related to this shooting.
Although the motive or exact circumstances leading up to the incident are yet to be clarified, there’s indication from law enforcement that a disturbance might have occurred within the room before the incident.
Investigators urge the public to assist in piecing together the incident’s preceding events. Anyone with information regarding a potential disturbance or other relevant details is encouraged to step forward.
