4 Injured in Shooting at Georgia Waffle House

On the morning of Saturday, October 14, 2023, a shooting occurred at a Waffle House located in Bibb County, Georgia, approximately 100 miles south of Atlanta. The incident led to three patrons sustaining injuries as they paid their bills.

Reports indicate that all three victims and the assailant received gunshot wounds to the leg. All four are currently in stable condition. The attacker has been identified as 35-year-old Darryes Monteze Hill.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office clarified that the event was not a targeted incident. However, specific details regarding the motive or the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain undisclosed.
