Just before her husband, Donald Trump, was indicted on multiple charges tied to the alleged mismanagement of federal documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, former First Lady Melania Trump was sighted at Trump Tower in New York City on June 8, appearing stone-faced.
Hiding her facial expressions behind sunglasses and carrying a Chanel purse, the 53-year-old Melania entered her NYC home on Thursday afternoon.
Later in the day, Donald Trump, aged 76, used Truth Social to announce his indictment on seven charges, some under the Espionage Act.
Melania’s visit to Trump Tower occurred less than a month after Donald excluded her in a contentious Mother’s Day post targeting the “Radical Left.” Despite “transactional marriage” rumors, sources suggest the couple is “more united than ever” following Donald’s proclamation of a 2024 presidential campaign. However, Melania has yet to comment on Donald’s recent indictment, which, if convicted on all counts, could entail a maximum prison term of life.
The charges against Donald Trump encompass retaining national defense documents deliberately, conspiring to obstruct justice, withholding documents, corruptly hiding records, concealing a document during a federal investigation, scheming to conceal, and making false assertions. Melania was notably absent from Donald’s speech at Mar-a-Lago in April following his arraignment on charges associated with payouts to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former aide and confidante of Melania, commented that while Melania is privy to her husband’s affairs, she retains her silence out of dignity. Wolkoff is of the opinion that Melania will support her husband, stating her anger, but not humiliation, regarding the affairs. Melania has not yet made any public statements about the recent indictment
