The mother of a missing teenager was heartbroken when she found her daughter’s lifeless body at the bottom of a cliff after hours of tracking her using a cell phone tracking app.
The incident occurred in San Antonio, Texas, where Siri Reddy was a student at the private Keystone School. Reddy’s mother became worried when she went to the school to pick up her daughter on Thursday, May 3, but the teenager was nowhere to be found. After Reddy failed to show up for pickup time, her mother notified the police, who immediately launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, Siri’s mother tracked her daughter’s cell phone location, which led her to the area around Heroes Stadium and Thousand Oaks.
Reddy’s mom found the teenager’s body at the bottom of a cliff just as the police responded to her 911 call. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the high schooler but were unsuccessful and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The police believe that Reddy succumbed to injuries sustained after the fall and are currently trying to determine how the 16-year-old ended up 12 miles away from her school and what led to her accident.
According to the school, Reddy was a member of the Science Fair team, the school’s robotics team, and a contributor to the school’s newspaper. They also described her as an avid music lover. The school said they were deeply saddened by Siri’s tragic death and had made counseling services available to help students and staff handle their grief. They urged all school community members to cooperate with the authorities as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident
