A 74-year-old woman was killed when the ambulance in which she was being transported collided with three other vehicles.
The horrific car crash occurred on the evening of May 16 on Alabama 21 in Talladega County. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that an ambulance that was transporting Dana M. Foster, 74, collided head-on with a tractor-trailer before striking a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2023 Honda CRV.
The ambulance driver, a paramedic on board, and the drivers of the Nissan and Honda were all rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment following the accident. Regional Paramedical Services, the company that owns the ambulance, is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities during the investigation.
