In a recent podcast episode of “Lipstick on the Rim” with Molly Sims posted on Tuesday, December 19, Diaz expressed her frustration over the rumors, emphasizing Foxx’s positive influence on set. “Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person, he’s so talented, so much fun,” Diaz commented. She also mentioned that any production issues were typical of a film set and didn’t involve any significant delays, except towards the end of the shooting schedule when Foxx had a medical crisis.
Diaz chose not to discuss the specifics of Foxx’s medical incident but did affirm that he is currently “thriving.” Reflecting on the efforts to tarnish Foxx’s reputation, Diaz remarked on his professionalism and class in handling the situation, noting that he preferred to let the rumors subside without confrontation. She expressed her own anger over these attempts to demean her co-star.
“Back in Action” marks Diaz’s return to the silver screen following her hiatus after the 2014 film “Annie.” The film is slated for release in 2024. Diaz’s return to acting, especially in a project alongside Foxx, has been a significant talking point in the entertainment industry.
