A severe accident occurred in Cohasset, Massachusetts, on August 31, resulting in the death of a two-year-old boy at Hajj Auto Service.
The young child became ensnared beneath construction equipment at around 12:40 pm, as confirmed by Cohasset’s Chief of Police, William Quigley.
The child’s grandfather, who operates Hajj Auto Service, hurried the boy to the closest police station. The boy was then rapidly transported to South Shore Hospital. Regrettably, he was declared deceased on arrival.
When addressing the press, Chief Quigley stressed that there was no sign of intentional harm related to the incident. He also expressed the profound emotional effects the situation has had on those who bore witness. The strain of the incident was evident, with one employee needing medical assistance due to shock. Chief Quigley further added that a member of the Cohasset Police Department had to be relieved from duty.
Currently, the exact circumstances of this tragic accident are being closely examined. The investigation involves the combined efforts of the state police and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
